Application

The diazonium salt of sulfanilic acid may be used in the preparation of azo dyes such as o-anisaldehyde[1], orange I[2] and orange II.[2] It may also be used in the preparation of 2,6-dibromoaniline via bromination followed by desulfonation.[3]
